NAKASERO, KAMPALA — Mubende District’s endorsement exercise reached the Chairman’s Office in Nakasero this afternoon, as a delegation of PLU cadres delivered an endorsement book containing 6,000 signatures in support of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s proposed 2031 presidential bid.
The delegation was led by Maj. (Rtd) Hon. Joseph Kakooza, Member of Parliament for Buwekula County and PLU Coordinator for Mubende District, who accompanied the cadres on a courtesy visit to the office.
The team was received by Hon. Michael Mawanda, PLU Director of Mobilisation and MP for Igara East, who welcomed the delegation and received the endorsement returns.
The handover marked an important moment for the Mubende coordination team, bringing the signatures collected through the district’s endorsement activities to the national leadership.
For the cadres who travelled to Nakasero, the visit was an opportunity to present the results of their local efforts in person, with 6,000 signatures now delivered to the Chairman’s Office as part of PLU’s nationwide endorsement exercise
