NAKASERO, KAMPALA — What began as a courtesy visit to the PLU Chairman’s Office in Nakasero this afternoon ended with a formal flag-off, as representatives from universities in Fort Portal met PLU Director of Mobilisation Hon. Michael Mawanda.
The delegation, coordinated by Pastor Ronnie, brought together representatives of higher institutions of learning in Fort Portal for discussions on PLU activities and the involvement of university communities.
Mawanda, who also serves as Member of Parliament for Igara East, received the delegation and engaged its members on mobilisation within institutions of higher learning in support of PLU Chairman Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The discussions concluded with Mawanda formally flagging off the delegation for mobilisation activities within their respective university communities.
The flag-off was the defining moment of the visit. The Fort Portal representatives had arrived at Nakasero for a courtesy call; they departed having been formally entrusted with extending the engagement to their institutions.
