MASAKA — Hon. Justine Nameere Nsubuga has officially joined the growing endorsement drive for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 2031 presidential bid, taking the campaign directly to the grassroots across Masaka City.
Hon. Nameere, the Masaka City Woman Member of Parliament and Minister of State for Local Government, collected 25 endorsement books, with one book allocated to each of the city’s 25 wards. Her ministerial appointment was announced in the May 2026 Cabinet.
The exercise marks a significant step in extending the endorsement campaign through Masaka’s local structures and ensuring that supporters at ward level are able to participate directly.
Hon. Nameere also formally declared her support for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, for Uganda’s presidency in 2031, adding her voice to the nationwide mobilisation already underway.
With the books now distributed for ward-level mobilisation, the endorsement exercise in Masaka City moves into its next phase as PLU continues to strengthen grassroots participation across the country
