Former Vice President of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, visited the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Secretariat in Naguru, where he was received by PLU Secretary General, Hon. Fadil Twalla, and members of the PLU leadership.
The visit provided an opportunity for an engaging interaction with the leadership of the movement, as PLU continues to strengthen its structures and engage leaders and citizens across the country.
During the engagement, Ssekandi expressed his support for the emerging political transition agenda and endorsed Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for President of Uganda in 2031 and beyond. His endorsement adds the voice of a former Vice President and veteran national leader to the growing list of public figures participating in the PLU-led endorsement drive.
